The Dutch brand Dille & Kamille opened its first store in 1974, which means the company is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Over time, the business has grown to 28 stores in the Netherlands and has also established a presence in Belgium and Germany.
Introduction
Founder Freek Kamerling had a clear mission for the family business back in 1974: to offer a counter-reaction to the emerging throwaway society through “natural simplicity.” Plastic was strictly off-limits.
