Introducing a big update for Daisycon’s Magento-2 Affiliate Tracking extension

Daisycon is proud to announce a big update for the Magento-2 Daisycon Affiliate Tracking extension. This extension implements the Daisycon conversion pixel to the checkout success page of your Magento store. The conversion pixel checks whether a transaction has been generated and sends all required information to the Daisycon system. This makes it easier for you to run your affiliate program and measure its performance.

The Daisycon Affiliate Tracking extension adds the Daisycon conversion pixel to the checkout success page of your store. You do not need to change any code in the success template yourself. The extension, compatible with PHP 8, already featured the most extended conversion pixel set up possible. It now also includes automation of transaction approval.

Automatic transaction approval

One challenge of running a large affiliate program is tracking transactions. You also need to ensure that affiliates receive credit for their sales. Therefore, this update’s most significant feature is automating transaction approval. This used to be a time-consuming manual task, but the Daisycon Affiliate Tracking extension now makes it much easier.

The new update includes automated transaction approval. You can set it based on the Magento order status.

The system automatically approves an order in Daisycon after a set number of days.

This happens when the order is placed and marked as “completed” in your Magento store. This eliminates the need for manual intervention. So, in case a customer returns a part of their order, the transaction will be adjusted accordingly in the Daisycon system, ensuring that your affiliates receive the correct commission. Product level conversion pixel

One of the key features of the Daisycon Affiliate Tracking extension is the extended product level conversion pixel. All products (parts) within a transaction are measured. Option to set variable commissions

The product level conversion pixel offers an extra functionality to set variable commissions based on your store’s available product attributes. This feature allows you to offer different commissions for different products, giving you greater flexibility and control over your affiliate program.

Enrichment with extra variables

You can also enrich transaction data with extra variables (Extra 1–Extra 5), such as payment method, shipping method, category ID, or product attributes. You can use these variables to filter your statistics in the Daisycon interface. This helps you further optimise your campaign. These optional fields also provide valuable insights and support better decision-making.

Manage multiple campaigns with one extension

With the Daisycon Affiliate Tracking extension you can easily login with your Daisycon user account. The extension retrieves all the campaigns that your user account is connected to. It is even possible to connect different campaigns for each of your store views.
