Børnenes Boghandel is Denmark’s only dedicated children’s bookstore, with a history dating back to 1972. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the store has become a beloved destination for families looking for inspiring books and toys for children of all ages. Since 2020, the bookstore has been run by the Fensvig family, continuing its strong tradition of creating a magical universe centered around reading and imagination. In 2023, Børnenes Boghandel expanded online with boernenes.dk, making its carefully curated selection accessible across Denmark. The webshop offers children’s books, series, authors, and educational toys designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading.
